Kids’ Club
We are pleased to offer our Kids Club at Connections 2019. The aim of Kids Club is to provide your children with an engaging program, while allowing you to attend the conference activities with peace of mind. We want to provide your children with a comfortable, safe and happy experience.
Who, when, where?
The Kids club will be open to children/teens aged 3-17yrs of registered conference attendees. It will operate for the duration of the day sessions of Connections 2019. Kids club times are: Saturday: 8.20am - 2.30pm and Sunday 8.20am - 12.30pm.
Operator of the Kids Club
Kids Club for ages 3-17 years will be run by Owl Eyes Nannies, a licensed nanny Service. The staff consist of qualified child carers and volunteers with current first aid training and all relevant Working with Children checks.
Meals
Meals will be provided for kids including morning tea and afternoon, it will be served in the Kids Club. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will eaten with parents and family in the Cygnet room.
Costs
There is a cost of $150 per child attending the Kids Club. The majority of cost for the running of Kids Club has been covered by our fundraising team.
More information
Further details will be provided to parents who are planning to use this service, including a waiver and consent forms.Parents need to be attending the camp and the conference to use this service. Should parents leave the conference for sightseeing, shopping or any other purposes, they need to collect their child prior to leaving the campsite.
The Owl Eyes staff will be onsite for Kids Club. However, should they experience behavioural issues with your child, you will be called to the club room. Please vacate the room ready to begin conference sessions as soon as you have left your child, so that the staff can get to know them and look after them.Staff can assist with nappy changes and toileting.
